Powdered activated carbon (PAC) optimized for mercury removal from air emissions.

Arq’s PowerPAC series is optimized and designed specifically for removing mercury emissions from the flue gas of coal-fired boilers. Our product utilizes select feedstocks and additives and is produced under tightly controlled operating conditions. PowerPAC is non-brominated and designed for power plants, industrial boilers and kilns that burn highly chlorinated bituminous coal. PowerPAC Premium is brominated and has been designed for operations burning subbituminous coal (including PRB) and lignite, waste, and biomass fuels.
