FluxSorb RP is a high-quality, domestically manufactured powdered activated carbons (PAC) engineered for the treatment of contaminated sediments and waters. FluxSorb RP is activated under carefully controlled conditions to create optimal pore volume and properties specially designed for enhanced treatment of contaminated sediments, soils, and groundwaters. The physical and chemical characteristics of FluxSorb RP are suitable for use as an effective, low-cost adsorptive media for in-situ remediation.

FluxSorb RP is specifically designed for effective in situ remediation applications.
The powdered product can be injected as a slurry under high pressure to create a permeable adsorptive treatment zone which cuts off migration of pollutants in a contaminated groundwater plume.
It can also be mixed into contaminated soil or used as the active ingredient in amendments for sediment remediation. As the FluxSorb RP comes in contact with contaminated media, contaminants are captured inside the activated carbon pores and concentrations are reduced through sequestration, destruction, biodegradation, and/or neutralization.
