We strive to produce the lowest cost energy products, while cleaning up environmental liabilities, to make the world’s resources go further.

We are neither a mining nor oil company, we take nothing new out of the earth. We are technology-led innovators applying new processes to extract pure energy from the waste produced as a result of coal mining.

Our vision

Getting more from less is the future of good energy. We believe that our technology can change the way the world views the use and recovery of resources. Working and partnering with energy producers, technicians, scientists and governments, we hope to ensure a secure energy future for everyone.

Our story

As global demand for energy continues to increase, making the best use of our finite resources is one of the greatest challenges we face today.

This means we need to be smarter. Our mission is to do everything we can to rethink how we make use of the natural resources available to us. There are over 1 billion tonnes of coal waste discarded each year – the equivalent of throwing away over 5 million barrels of oil a day. Through innovative technology and original thinking, we are able to transform a serious environmental liability into a cleaner and more efficient source of energy.
